    Black Sox TV is a pet project of mine that was a byproduct of my MFA thesis project on Joe Jackson and the 1919 Black Sox. I’ll include more here at some point but for now, this is the intro graphic I built for the video segments. I actually shot the distressed baseball in my living room in HD and then composited the rest in After Effects.

    Produced :60 second commercial for the Savannah Theatre, the oldest continually-operating theatre in the United States.

    Produced this :60 second commercial for the Savannah Theatre, the oldest continually-operating theatre in the United States.

    The spot was compiled from footage since the theatre’s re-opening in 2002 and also incorporates scenics of Savannah’s Landmark Historic District.

    Due to a really tight deadline, I also had to do some rotoscoping and had never done it before. The cigarette was actually being elevated by one end of a paperclip bent into an “L”-shape and stuck into the filter, with the other end mounted to something tall enough to give it the appearance it was floating in mid-air (ingenius solution by my DP).

    Beer America TV, the video blog I’ve been helping to develop, hit another milestone last week when it was successfully submitted to iTunes.

    Beer America TV, the video blog I’ve been helping to develop, hit another milestone last week when it was successfully submitted to iTunes. Now, every video episode of BATV can be accessed via iTunes and synced up to any iPhone, video iPod, or Apple TV (obviously the episodes can also be watched directly in iTunes). Just another move to help spread the gospel of craft beer.
