Custom WordPress Development for Producer/Director Paul Leone

Paul Leone is a TV producer and director (and editor) who is the driving force behind BeerAmerica.TV , a biweekly Vlog focusing on the craft beer industry. I recently completed a custom integration on his portfolio site of the open source Flash Cover Flow V2 , which mimics the interface of iTunes.

The original Flash movie was driven by an XML file listing the image, link and title of selected videos. Now, instead of having to manually update this XML file, re-upload and check for errors, it’s being automatically generated from his posts in WordPress.

Also integrated into the admin side of the site is a simple method for embedding Quicktime movies that doesn’t rely on sometimes-clumsy WordPress plug-ins.
